As young men these there San Antonio natives carried on about their lives until their fateful day, when our nation called upon them to take the greatest challenge of all. Following their call to be drafted each of these men found themselves miles from home learning new skills that the government decided they had. Each one playing a vital role in what has been America’s most unpopular war. The experiences that they have gone through carry on with them to this day, and it in small efforts of trying to do right by them and those who served during the Vietnam War, we we try to welcome these veterans home the right way this Vietnam Veterans Day (March 29th, 2023)
